WELCOME ON BOARD
WEEK-END or WEEK THE PREPARATIONS NO LICENCE REQUIRED BASIC RULES OF NAVIGATION… LIFE ON BOARD... ACTIVITIES... AT THE END OF YOUR CRUISE |
Week-end, mid-week, one week or more
Make the most of the long March-October cruising season and see
more of Europe at times that suit you best.
Short breaks : long week-ends or mid-week breaks are easy to organise
outside of the peak summer cruising season and are a perfect way
to break the tedium of everyday routines.
One way trip are great if you want to see as much as possible and
take in all the sights. Pick up your cruiser at one base and drop
it off at another. We will organise transfers for you or your car
at either end.
Round trip during one, two or three weeks is a perfect way to enjoy
your cruising region to the full and offer a more leisurely pace
and longer stops-over en route.
What to bring on board
You
should take with you soft bags instead of suitcases which are not
easy to storage. Don't forget to put into washing-up liquid, soap,
matches, toilet paper, binoculars, gloves for holding the ropes
in the locks, beachwear, hat, sunglasses, suntan lotion, insect
repellent and cream, non-slip shoes, raincoats, a torch and travelling
first-aid kit. Also think of a parasol if you will cruise in summer
and have chosen a boat with terrace. Otherwise, you can hire parasols,
tables and chairs for terrace on booking.
First day provisions
In
some departure bases, our team offers you the possibility to pre-order
some basic provisions to be ready for you on your boat. Alternatively,
most of our bases are close to local stores where you can easily
stock up on some essentials for your first day.
Fuel and water supply
The
boat will be supplied with full fuel and water tanks. You will be
able to refill with water at various points along your route. You
will not normally need to refuel during your cruise. Prior to your
holiday, the sales team will be able to give you an estimation of
the fuel costs you will incur for your route and the boat you will
be using.
