Wether you stay for the weekend, a week of longer, there is always something to visit and discover. Leaving Kralupy, you can arrive in Prague, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe in just over 5 hours. From there, you can visit the historical centre of the city on foot or from your boat, enjoying the unique view you have of the Prague Castle (UNESCO World Heritage Monument). From whichever direction you arrive, as you navigate on the Vltava River, you can admire the remains of historic Prague. Leaving Prague behind you, you will set out on a route no less interesting: you can navigate though very pretty scenery and deep locks set in a pretty, steep-sided valley and leading to the Stechnovide dam. You can also visit the dam of the beautiful Lake Slapy? The route to the North will enchant you just as much! In addition to Nelahozeves Castle, you can visit the nearby castle at Veltrusy. Then you can continue along the Horin channel to the confluence of the Vltava and Labe rivers, arriving in the historic and royal city of Melnik. This charming city lies at the heart of the Czech wine region. You can also cruise through the vineyards for many kilometres continuing north to Usti nad Labem. The passage through the Czech foothills is fascinating: the Labe River enters the Porta Bohemica valley and begins to form charming loops... Another possible route: heading upstream on the river Labe. On this route, you can visit the pilgrimage temple of Stara Boleslav and the very famous city of Podebrady. There are about 300km of waterways at your disposal which offer you the opportunity to discover and visit the region.
